Getting Gritty

Posted by missknielsen on August 29, 2018 at 3:20 PM

The talk below is all about how it isn’t only IQ and intelligence that predict your chances of success in life. It turns out that GRIT, persistence and stick-to-it-ness are far more important than what test scores say. How can you use the growth mindset to help you become more gritty?

Using the ted talk below as inspiration, write a paragraph that will inspire someone else. There doesn’t have to be a specific topic, only that your end goal is to inspire and engage your reader with a story or idea that will help them develop themselves as a grittier person.

Sometimes it´s not about how fast you can run or how good you are at a certain video game, and some times you might lose, but what really matters is that you don´t give up. Not giving up mean you keep trying. That means that you are gritty. Gritty means that you can do things that you don´t think you can do.
